I know weight loss and maintaining health can be frustrating. I recently read some of the dumbest advice ever about basic food combinations, so I decided to throw some light on the subject.
And no, a deluxe burger is not suddenly healthy if you take it apart and eat the items separately. Use your brain.
My best advice is to keep it simple: Bread or Starches + Vegetables ✔ Vegetables + Meat ✔ Meat + Bread ❌ Legumes + Vegetables ✔ Eat Fruit on its own (do not combine) ✔ Legumes + Starches 🆗 Eat Nuts or Seeds on their own (do not combine) ✔ Root Vegetables are Starches that digest like Vegetables ✔ (Legumes are peas, beans and peanuts. Starches are potatoes, rice* and corn. Bread includes pasta and items made with flour.) *Rice (brown, yellow, wild, etc.) is a healthy, inexpensive starch/grain ✔ Avoid white rice, white sugar and white bread ❌ If you insist on eating meat, avoid processed and don't combine with bread.
Be very cautious with dairy. START getting well and STOP complaining. You can live your best life. I'm here to help you.
